Privacy Policy

Volvera ("we", "us", "our") is an AI shopping assistant service for e-commerce businesses, operated by Mustafa Güldag, Hungary. Contact: mustafa.guldag@volvera.ai

Your data is stored on servers operated by Hetzner Online GmbH, located in Nuremberg, Germany (European Union).

We collect the following personal data:

• Contact form: name, email address, store URL, and message content when you submit a demo request.
• Merchant registration: name, email address, business name, website URL, and a hashed password when you create an account.
• Usage data: chat session counts, plan usage, and feature interactions within the merchant dashboard — no personally identifiable shopper data is stored.
• Technical data: IP address and browser information from server access logs, retained for up to 30 days for security purposes.

We do not collect payment card details. Payments will be processed by Stripe, which has its own privacy policy.

• To respond to demo requests and enquiries.
• To create and manage your merchant account.
• To send transactional emails (email verification, password reset, usage alerts) via Resend.
• To monitor service health and investigate security incidents.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

• Contract performance: processing necessary to provide the Volvera service to merchants who have registered.
• Legitimate interests: responding to contact form enquiries, maintaining service security.
• Consent: analytics cookies (if you accept them via our cookie banner).

We use the following third-party processors:

• Hetzner Online GmbH — server hosting (Germany, EU). Privacy policy.
• Resend — transactional email delivery. Privacy policy.
• Cloudflare — DNS, CDN, and DDoS protection. Privacy policy.
• Google Analytics — website analytics (only if you accept analytics cookies). Privacy policy.

• Contact enquiries: retained for 2 years.
• Merchant accounts: retained while your account is active and for 1 year after closure.
• Server logs: retained for 30 days.

As an EU resident, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Erase your data ("right to be forgotten").
• Restrict processing in certain circumstances.
• Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
• Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
